BIKE BRIDGE Together instead of against each other.

Our wish is for biking to be possible for everyone to experience, use and to be mobile. Until 2023 thanks for the Action Person Foundation, we will be able to offer Bike & Belong classes in six cities and in addition to more mobility, also foster exchange, movement and societal engagement.

Starting off are the new locations Hamburg and Frankfurt am Main in 2020.

Location specific information for our new and already established locations (also for this year’s program) can be found by clicking on the map below.

Our Scale-Up Concept.

Within the scope of Together instead of against each other we now have the opportunity to expand our program to further cities. Together with cooperation partners we will offer Bike & Belong courses, open trainings & additional events.

Also at the new locations we will implement our holistic monitoring & evaluation concept to assess the implementation and impact of our activities (see also monitoring). Here we will be supported by Univation, an institute for impact evaluation.

Bike Bridge Scale-Up Training.

Our wish is for women in other cities and municipalities to have the opportunity to learn biking, exchange with each other & make connections. For this purpose, we are offering since 2019 our scale-up trainings. In two workshops, interested parties are prepared for the planning, implementation & leading of a Bike & Belong program. We would like to share our tested and established course concept and experience with everyone interested.

With the annual Bike Bridge Summit in November we celebrate the bike season. The Bike Bridge yearly conference should be a forum for reflection, exchange, training & networking. The goal of the summit is to reflect on the year’s activities and to plan for the next year. During a one weekend retreat there are events, workshops, tours & a celebration for bike training and related topics. There is input from experts and from the Bike Bridge team on relevant topics such as organizational development, fundraising, volunteer engagement or public relations.
